I think it's great news that there have been new breakthroughs in the field of treatments for Homocystinuria. This area of personalized medicine is only just starting to achieve its aim of the "right treatment to the right person at the right time". We still have a long way to go before it can be applied to patients as there is still much to learn about the human genome, gene functions as well as how well they correlate to a specific disease. In the meantime I hope that there can be more research done on other treatment options for patients suffering from homocystinuria so that patients are able to be totally free from this disease.
